Winter Craft Projects

Now that Christmas has come and gone I can post all my fun craft projects I completed up-to and during my Christmas break! I love making things, especially for those I love! I painted 4 plates for Christmas this year and I was extremely happy with each one! Each time I'd say "man I wish I was keeping this for us," but it was more fun to give them than to keep them! Along with painting plates, I was busy painting and crafting for Zeke's room. I need to finish some shelves I started painting yesterday and once they are on the wall I'll post a separate post with pictures from his room (I'm extremely excited about his room)!

Here are the four plates, sorry they're not the best pictures, but I just took these on my phone! I must say thank you to Clay Cafe here in Lubbock for some of the inspiration and help!

Now for the projects I've completed for Zeke's room!

 This is a before and after of a bookshelf I bought from Craigslist. I used the 2 blues that we painted the chevron wall with! It turned out really cute and looks great now that it's filling up with books!!

I made this canvas to go over his bed! I just fell in love with the saying!

Like I said above, I'm really excited about his room and can't wait for it to be all finished! I can sit in there for hours, it's just so happy and peaceful! It makes me excited and more ready every day for his big arrival!

Hope everyones new year is off to a fabulous start! We had a very busy and exciting 2012 and we are looking forward to what 2013 holds in store for us!
