35 week Zoey Bumpdate

Let the countdown begin, T minus 33 days and counting!

We, ok maybe just me, are so excited for Zoey to be here, bring on the sleepless nights! Seriously I'll take sleepless nights over nausea, heartburn, sleepless nights with no baby, feeling hot and sweaty all day, and the full body aches. I'm trying to stay positive as I really want her to bake as long as she needs to, but each day is getting harder and harder. I told Kyle I don't have the ability to toss and turn anymore, but flip and flop and with every flip or flop there is an ache.

Slowly but surely we will get to the finish line. As the weeks have passed, we have seriously blown up. Both her and I have apparently grown in many ways! Other than the norm we are good and healthy, which in itself is a true blessing! I can function through the day as long as I take my heartburn and nausea medicine. I can also sleep better at night with an ice pack on my feet. I'm not joking I'm so hot my feet feel like they are on fire.

I'm not sure if it's weight gain or from being hot 24/7, but I can't wear my rings anymore. Not only can I not wear my rings, but I'm very limited on what shoes I can wear. I didn't have this issue with Zeke as I never had to take my ring of and I wore heels till pretty much 40 weeks but, I haven't worn heels in probably 6 weeks and my feet feel like they are going to explode out of my tennis shoes every time I put them on to go to the gym. It's so so different from when I was pregnant with Zeke.

My doctor believes that Zoey will be bigger than Zeke so we have a growth check ultrasound next week to get an idea of her size. I'm not sure if my doctor is trying to scare me out of a natural birth or if she is just trying to prepare me. :) Whatever the case we are excited to see Zoey at 36 weeks!

On aside note her room is almost finished, we just have 1/2 of her wall decal left to put up! Every day I get home and tell myself we will get it done, but by the time Zeke is in bed I'm wiped and done for the day. But we'll get it done!

I'm still teaching spin, but I've cut back to just twice a week. Each week and each day is getting harder and harder for me to get on the bike. As we grow closer to her due date there is a lot more pressure in that area and lots of things shifting and moving and it's just uncomfortable. However, the plan is to teach for four more weeks!

Zeke was in no rush to get here and sat happily inside me until 40 weeks, some days I have that same feeling about Zoey and then other days I feel like she could come in the next two weeks. Who knows?! I just know I'm ready!

Before we know it she will be here and until she gets here Im just taking it day by day!

As far as Zeke goes we are still struggling a bit with accidents at daycare. I'm not sure if he is doing it out of spite or if he just doesn't like his teacher, but he had 3 accidents yesterday and the sad part is he knows better. We are working with the daycare for a solution, but Kyle and I are tossing around other options.

We had an ENT checkup this week and after 12 weeks his right ear is still full of fluid, so he will have surgery next Wed to put another tube in his right ear. His left ear looks great and is functioning like it should, even without a tube. We are saying our prayers that this will be the 3rd and final tube for the right ear. He also received his pneumal caccuos (sorry for the bad spelling) vaccine and in reality has done much better with drainage since receiving it; however, something has blown in and all 3 of our allergies have been going crazy this week. After talking with the ENT it seems only time will help, so we will try to be patient.

Kyle started school back this week and it seems to be going well. He has some good students with big ideas for metal projects so it should be an exciting year!

Besides me being pregnant and miserable everything is good! We are excited for the school year and for the changes Zoey will bring!

Ready to meet Zoey!
