3 Months and Zeke's Baptism

How can it be that Zeke is already 3 months old?!? It seems that the days just pass by so quickly! We are having so much fun with him, not that he wasn't fun before, but he is really talking and laughing these days! He is so alert and so fun to "play" with! We're still looking forward to the day when he can actually sit up and throw a ball, but for now we are having fun with him with what he can do. It's hard being a parent, we feel torn between the fact that we can't wait to watch him grow up and we wonder what his personality will be like and what he will enjoy doing, but we also don't want him to grow up too quickly! It really amazes us how much he changes almost daily. Some of our friends had their little boy this week and he is 7 lbs 9 oz and when we went to see them we had Zeke with us and it was really amazing to see how much he has truly grown in 3 short months and he was even a pound smaller at birth! It's almost like we can't remember him being that small.

We baptized Zeke last Sunday, June 2. It was a beautiful blessing done by our dear friend Father Joseph Palacios. Zeke smiled the entire time Father was talking to him, until Father poured the water on his head and then he screamed. :) We shared the day with all of our family and closest friends, we thankful for everyone that was there that day! Besides going through labor and delivery together baptizing Zeke was the greatest experience we could have has parents. To vow in front of the entire church, our family and friends to raise Zeke up as a christian young man who loves God was one of the greatest feelings as a parent. Knowing that Zeke is saved brings true bliss and joy to our hearts! What an amazing day it was, and he happened to look pretty cute too. :)
