Life With The Pate's: 2 Months of Blessings!

2 months, already?!? Wow how the days have flown! I'm not sure I can recall everything we've done over the past 60 days, but I do know that with each day we have made many memories and have accomplished many firsts! I keep thinking, when will we get that first good belly laugh and when will we roll over and when will we sit up etc., but then I remember that it will be here before we know it and for now I just need to enjoy the coo's, smiles and all the cuddles for one day they will no longer be here.

We are very blessed with just an amazing baby and I say this not b/c he is ours, but because he started sleeping through the night (6-8 hours) at 6 1/2 weeks old! He also rarely fusses unless he gets hungry or tired, which I must say makes it easy to figure out when/if something is wrong! He loves to cuddle and smile and just be happy! I can be on the treadmill for 45 mins and he will just swing away happy as can be. We can put him down and he will fall asleep on his own, he loves when I sing to him and he loves his daddy!

Flew for the first time

In the past month Zeke and I made our first flight to Houston. I was really nervous, but Zeke did amazing. Flying from Lubbock to Houston on Southwest we have to stop in Dallas, but luckily we did not have to change planes and he slept from Lubbock to Dallas woke up to eat then went back to sleep! He did the same thing when coming back home. We had an amazing time, every day was filled with unending love, lots of hugs and good times! We were able to spend a full day with my mom's family and another day we cooked out with my dad's family and the final day we just spent it with all our closest family friends! Zeke saw and met so many new faces and he was a trooper through it all, he just smiled and loved on everyone. I love going home and sure wish it was closer to our home, if we could only shrink Texas down a few hundred miles :)
