The ABC's for our First Year of Marriage

One year ago, I stood in front of God, family, and friends and married the love of my life. I can't believe it's been a year since I took the walk down the aisle to marry my best friend! The year brought many ups and downs, lots of learning and lots of accomplishments! So here is a rundown in ABC'S.


A is for ANNIVERSARY, celebrating our one year and looking forward to many more!
B is for BRAVE, for trusting in God's plan and where He is to take us.
C is for our CHURCH, Holy Spirit, the amazing Catholic Church we joined!
D is for DELICIOUS, I've tried to cook at least 3 new recipes a month and many months there have been more and it has lead to some amazing meals!
E is for EXCITED, excited to see what lies ahead!
F is for FAMILY and FRIENDS, our lives are blessed with many friends and an amazing family!
G is for GAGARE SALE, where you think I sold all your stuff, but we did make $300!
H is for HOME, as we bought our first home together!
I is for INNOVATION, we have learned to use what we got in making things around the house.
J is for JOBS, we both stated a new job in which we both love and are happy in!
K is for KNOWLEDGE, some days one or the other thinks we know everything, but in reality we know nothing and are constantly learning!
L is for LOVE, no explanation needed!
M is for MARRIAGE, that's what started off our amazing year!
N is for NEVER ENDING, as our love is endless!
O is for OBSESSION, for my endless crafts and projects galore.
P is for POSITIVITY, as we continue to be an optimist with any challenges that come our way.
Q is for QUESTIONS, I'm pretty sure I ask at least one question/weekend about the Catholic Church and our faith. :-)
R is for ROAD TRIPS, we made many a road trips to Houston!
S is for ST LUCIA, where we spent our honeymoon. (it was also my first trip out of the US)
T is for TEACHING, as Kyle is passionate about his students and the FFA program.
U is for UNBELIEVABLE, how blessed we are!
V is for VOWS, where we promised each other forever!
W is for WEST TEXAS, where we have decided to live, make a home and build our careers!
X is for EXAMPLE, we strive to be an example to others, to show God's love through and in us.
Y is for YAY!! We made it a year without killing each other hahahaha
Z is for ZZZZZZZZZZZ's, Kyle loves taking afternoon naps and I love to sleep in on the weekends!

Every day our vows become true as we hold on to each other and accept the good and the bad, the rich and the poor, the sickness and the health, the better and the worse every day from now on out. I take your forever with a happy heart, because there is no one else I would want to share my forever with than you. I'm thankful for the year we've had and I can't wait for the years to come!
