Since my last post a little bit of this and a little bit of that has gone on! I guess the biggest "this" is that I changed jobs! I'm going on week three as the Visual Communications Specialist at SPC. This job has truly been a God send! I couldn't be more blessed for this opportunity, I know this is where I'm suppose to be - I have an amazing team and boss! If you're wondering what the title means... I'm a graphic designer for all of SPC. SPC has many many positives as an employee and I've actually enjoyed my 30 min trip driving in and back. It's crazy how loving, or not liking, your job affects your entire life. Since being at SPC everything in life has looked up for me and us!
Here you can see the sunrise during my morning drive in and then the beautiful afternoon drive!
Other random this and that's that we've done:
As we are all aware Oct. is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I went with my co workers to "Lights, Camera, Cure" a luncheon and style show that highlighted 11 women who have survived or are going through breast cancer right now and my sister-n-law Kasey was part of the show in Honor of Corlis. It was such an amazing feeling to sit in a room with hundreds of women, and a few men, all wearing pink supporting the cause. We sat at tables of 8 as 1 in every 8 women are affected by Breast Cancer and when they asked for anyone who has survived or going through it to stand up there was nearly 1 at every table, it definitely sent chills down my spine.
Our dear friend Whitney and her loving husband Kam had their first baby last week! Kyle and I went to the hospital to meet Baby Kye and he was a little over a day old! What a true blessing for this amazing family! He is one lucky guy to have them as his parents!
Our Aunt Waynette turned 50 today and her loving husband Chris had a surprise dinner for her on Sunday and I made her this "blow pop" arrangement!
Other than those "this and that's" there's not much going on! I've been experimenting in the kitchen with both cooking and baking and Kyle has been busy busy at work.
Here's to all the "this and that's!"
