She has found her voice and loves to talk and talk and talk and talk. She may or may not get that from me. :) She loves music and loves to make music, she is a crazy mad drummer. She is happy, all the time! She loves to laugh and play peek-a-boo and she just wants you to talk to her. She loves to cuddle and give hugs and wet kiss like things. She loves people, but likes to play the shy game. She looks just like her daddy and loves him to the moon and back. You can usually hear her saying "da-da" from the top of her lungs.
She is still high maintenance and I still call her my princess, but that's ok. I don't care if she needs two hours to get ready, when that time comes and as long as she doesn't wake me we will be good to go. She will play on the concrete, but she is not a fan of the grass or sand or mud or rocks or really anything that could possible make her dirty. She does love to swing, go for walks, and will play in her walker while Zeke and I ride bikes, again she just doesn't want to get dirty.
For the 4th of July we made our annual trip down to the beach house and she was not a big fan of the beach. I give her a little credit because she did sit in the sand/water for about 5 minutes before needing a blanket to sit on... However, she mostly enjoyed playing inside the house. Zeke on the other hand would have lived on the beach if I would of let him. He also LOVED to fish with Papa Joe and was so excited he caught a crab on his pole! But the kid is going to have to work on his patience because all he kept saying was "catch me a roaker momma." aka a croaker. When we fished Friday afternoon every time we would cast we would catch a fish and I think that spoiled him. Now he thinks we should ALWAYS have a fish on the line. Of course Zeke loved the fireworks and Zoey could really care less. She got tired so I took her up for a bath, but she didn't want to sleep so we went out and finished watching the fireworks, before she finally fell asleep in Nanna's arms. Besides Zoey being high maintenance :) it was a great trip. Zeke and I were not ready to come home, but Kyle and Zoey were ready to be back in the dry flat lands.
We are truly blessed with Zoey. She is happy and loving and silly and we wouldn't trade her for the world. Her brother however is a total 3.5 yr old and is free to whoever would like to take him. JUST KIDDING! I
