16 weeks and Counting!

I can't believe we are already at week 16, but I feel like we still have a LONG ways to go! We kind of missed a picture at week 14, but I went to Houston and then week 15 went by and here we are at week 16. Things have been much better and my all day morning sickness has seemed to pass, THANK GOODNESS! Now the only time I get nauseous is if I get really hot, really hungry or really tired. All three things I can now control, or try to!

I think I'm finally realizing that we are having a baby and the initial shock and excitement of just being pregnant has passed because instead of just thinking about being pregnant I've been thinking about/worrying about the baby. Maybe I'm the only crazy person out there, but last night at dinner I was telling Kyle I was just worried about the baby growing strong and healthy. I mean how do we know? We only have an ultrasound every few months and a doctor visit once a month and I'm still not really big or feeling anything so I just worry. No matter what we already love the baby fully and will love the baby fully, but what if he/she isn't growing strong or as they are suppose to? I guess it's just something I've been thinking about lately!

On a more exciting note, we only have 4 more weeks until we find out if Baby P is a boy or girl! I'm so excited to find out so we can try to figure out a name! I feel like it's the most important and hardest thing of having a baby. :) I'm also ready to be 4 more weeks along because maybe then I'll fit into maternity clothes. I'm not big enough to fit into them yet, but too big to fit into my normal clothes. So I'm living in skirts and dresses to make it through the work week, I've realized it's more important to be comfortable than to try to impress these days. Comfortable = Mary in a better mood! :)

Many people ask if I'm still working out and the answer is yes! I still teach spin twice a week and I'm taking a pre natal swim class at Tech twice a week then I try to run/walk other days. Somedays are harder than others, but I always feel better after my workouts!

Last weekend we started painting the baby room and after 7 hours we got a good start! Many thanks to Waynette and Chris for their help!! I worked on it some more yesterday and we are now almost done.

This is completely random, but the South Plains Fair begins this coming weekend and I can not tell you how excited I am! I love the fair! The food, the people, the food and again the food!! haha Kyle also has several kids entering the ag. mechanics show so that's exciting too!

Here's to looking forward to the fair, fall weather staying around and a baby growing strong!!

Lots of love!
