31 Days of Ups and Downs

I can't believe that January is over and today is Feb. 1. In the first 31 days of 2012 Kyle and I faced many ups and downs. On Sunday Jan. 8, my papaw Bozarth (mom's dad) was called Home. He had been sick and fighting cancer, but we all thought he had another 6 months, little did we know that at Christmas we would only have two short weeks with him. I grew close to my papaw as a little girl b/c he passed on to me his passion for fishing and being on the water. I'll always remember the early summer mornings at the beach house loading the boat and setting out for the big catch of the day. Every time I'm on the water I'll always remember him and everything he taught me.

One short week after that things took a positive turn for us. We began looking at houses and on Jan. 16 we fell in love. I had seen this place online for several months and it was actually under contract with another couple and it fell through leaving it to be perfect for me & Kyle. We looked at it two different days and both days we were in love. It took us a few days, but finally decided to let the butterflies go and make an offer! A little going back and forth and on Sun. Jan 22 we went into contract for our first home! It has been an exciting, stressful, nerve wrecking and fun process all at once. Just a sneak about the home, but it is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath on an acre of land in Wolfforth. It also has a 25'x30' shop on it, which has already become known as Kyle's Man Cave..... We are set to close at 9 am on March 2 and we look forward to beginning this new chapter in our life!

With the ups and downs of Jan. we truly believe that everything happened for a reason and God truly has a plan. So here's to the many ups and downs of the first 31 days of 2012 and we look forward to the next 334 days of 2012!
