It's a New Year

Hello 2012!

I'm not quite sure where 2011 went, but there were many great chapters that were written in the past year! We spent the first six months of 2011 planning and finalizing the details for our wedding. There were many trips to Houston from Lubbock, lots and lots of decisions made and we truly learned how grateful we are for the many family friends that were willing to lend a helping hand to make sure our big day went smoothly. Literally half way through they year we met down the aisle and said "I Do" and as much as we thought we understood and knew what marriage was going to be like, it hit us like a dust storm in West Texas and we realized we really had no idea. In a matter of six months we have learned more about each other than we ever did in those seven years of being friends. The last six months of 2011 we learned the first steps in having an everlasting marriage with many ups and a few downs - learning each other's daily routine and each other's strengths and weaknesses. We are probably not like most couples, but we work and we make it work. As 2012 starts we begin to write our next chapter and we look forward to all the chapters of 2012. May you enjoy writing your chapters, ups and downs, as we enjoy writing ours!

Here are  a few pictures to recap our 2011:
