Zoey Corlis is 7 Months

I really can't believe that our sweet Zoey has been in our lives for 7 months. I don't even know where the months have gone.

It seems like ever since Zoey has been born life has just been a crazy rollercoaster. Learning to adjust to life with two kids, then dealing with gas or colic or whatever she had for the first few weeks, then a month of "normal," then 6 weeks of sickness and then finally spring break came and we were able to escape to Houston for fresh air and fresh scenery.

While in Houston Zoey turned 6 months and we celebrated by going to the Houston Zoo and the Houston Rodeo. Sadly Kyle had to work the entire week so he wasn't able to enjoy the time with us, but we had so much fun! The kids and I truly had a great week! Here are some snapshots from the week!

It was truly an awesome week at home. The kids and I had so much fun spending the week with nanna and papa joe! I wish I could shrink the size of Texas so we could spend a lot more time with them. Now that Zeke and Zoey are here I truly wish we lived closer.

We came home from Houston and the next week was Easter. My hearts just melts with how much Zeke loves to hold Zoey!

The next week our world shook when we found out papaw Willeford wouldn't recover from his pneumonia. Zoey and I hopped a flight to Houston and where there for 4 days then I left Zoey with my mom and dad and flew back on a late Monday night, worked Tuesday, then Zeke, Kyle and I drove back to Houston Wed. We did funeral stuff most of the day Thursday then drove back on Friday. It was a crazy whirl wind of a week.

Then here we are today and Zoey is now 7 months old. I didn't even take "official" 6 month pictures, good thing I have pictures from spring break and Easter, they will just have to do.

I'm really ready for life to calm down, but I don't know if it ever will. Zoey is junky again and we are still doing breathing treatments 3 times a day, it's about the only thing that helps her from getting sicker. Zeke is what we call normal with all his allergies, but seems to be growing like a weed.

The kids are really fun to watch. Zeke loves to play with Zoey and anytime he is around she just belly laughs at him. Zoey is really trying to crawl, but anytime she gets up on her toes she rolls over. She is happiest when she is sitting or standing. Her new favorite thing is to jump, jump, jump! She could spend hours jumping in your lap, in her jumparoo thing, or johnny jumper. She smiles for miles and laughs all day. The only time she is un happy is when you leave her in a room by herself. She definitely got spoiled spending a week in Houston. :) She is a good eater and really prefers food over milk. Out of everything we have made the only questionable food is sweet peas, but that was also the very first food we introduced to her so I'm hoping to make some this weekend and try again.

Life has been crazy since Zoey blessed us with her presence, but what fun would it be if it wasn't crazy?!

Loving this crazy thing called life,
Kyle + Mary + Zeke & Zoey
