21 Week Sweet P Bumpdate

21 weeks, I can't believe we are over half way there! I'm not really sure where the time has gone, how is it already mid May?

Life has just been crazy busy and in the past 3 weeks we have had 2 ultrasounds, 1 scheduled and 1 unexpected. Two weeks ago I was having some major pain and pressure and it felt like I was having minor contractions or braxton hicks; however, my doctor said it was way too early for me to have those. To make sure everything was ok with me and the baby they had me go in for an ultrasound. Yes, everything was fine it turned out I was dehydrated and over stressed. I think my body was just telling me I needed to take a break. Besides everything being ok and being prescribed lots of fluid and rest we were able to go ahead and find out if Sweet P was a boy or girl. However, Kyle was administering the STARR test so his phone was off and he had no idea I was even there so when the lady asked if I knew what I was having or if I wanted to know I just looked at her. :) Yes, of course I wanted to know but Kyle wasn't there, so she was really nice and offered to put it in an envelope! We didn't have plans to find out until our ultrasound this week so it was a nice surprise to find out 2 weeks early. As most know Sweet P is a girl and we couldn't be more excited, really nervous, but excited! Here is a video of us finding out she is a girl and then a few pictures from the ultrasound this week. Which was great, sweet P is growing like a weed and looks beautiful!

So pregnancy is still pregnancy. For me, it's miserable. In two weeks this little girl gained 4 oz, we may just have a sweet chunky monkey on our hands. :) But in all seriousness I'm hungry all the time, but not hungry for anything good other than fruit. Besides fruit I'm looking for anything carby, sweet, or just pure bad for you. :( And no matter what I eat or drink you can guarantee I'm going to have heartburn. I've been popping tums like candy this week, how can I already have heartburn when I'm only 5 months?! Seriously, little girl you may kill me. Again, I can't tell you how truly blessed I am to be pregnant, but just because I'm blessed doesn't mean I'm loving every minute, ok any minute of it. :) So other than gaining weight, having awful heartburn and being exhausted we are doing great! Just 19 more weeks to go!

Enough about pregnancy I have to talk about the little boy who has stolen our hearts. I seriously can not get enough of Zeke right now, he has just been so much fun and so helpful. He still loves to "sweep" up any mess he can find or make, "vacuum" the floors a million times, "mow" grass every single day, "help" in the garden, "pull" weeds, "wash" dishes and just be silly! He can count to 10, knows the primary colors and can say his ABC's; however, he still knows the drill, hammer, wrench, screw driver, air chuck and other tools out of Kyle's toolbox. He is obsessed with singing the wheels on the bus and if you're happy and you know it, we get in the car and he says "munic momma, my munic please" yes he says munic instead of music. He was also singing 10 little monkeys jumping on the bed before we left this morning. He is truly soaking up everything they are teaching him at daycare, and I couldn't be more proud or happier! He got a new teacher and I really like her, I just know she is doing great things with the kids. Every morning Zeke asks to go see his "big friends" since he moved up a class. It doesn't seem like he is only 2, every day I learn something new that he knows and every day he seems to blow me away! Here is just a fun video of him being silly with me on the couch.

And a few pictures from my phone. Zeke got a very much needed haircut this week and then of course we got home and he wanted to go outside and while Bear-Bear was enjoying the cool spring afternoon Zeke came over to give some loving, then it turned into a belly rub!

This little boy has stolen our hearts and we can't wait to meet his little sister!

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice….That's what little GIRLS are made of!
